Congress is expected to vote this week on repealing the military's discriminatory policy of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Repeal is likely to be raised as an amendment to this year's Department of Defense authorization bill, which is set for debate on Thursday.

Please call right now and urge your representative to support the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

"Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is a shameful policy that forces patriotic Americans to hide who they are in order to put their lives on the line to defend our country. Highly trained and qualified service members who are found out to be gays or lesbians are discharged, making our country less safe. It's time to make sure our military's policy reflects our constitutional values. It's a question of fundamental fairness and equality.

Tell YOUR representative that you expect him or her to vote for the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

We can make history this week, but Congress needs to hear your voice.
